The new experience is absolute garbage. It wastes my time, my screenspace, and hides almost every option requiring more clicks. Here's more deets:
- It's bloated, slower, and wastes screenspace- forcing me to scroll down to do what I used to accomplish on a single screen with the old interface
- biggest pet peeve: I can no longer use the up/down keys on my keyboard to jump up and down rows. this was critical to being able to create and manipulate invoices in a rapid fashion. now it's sluggish, and requires me to use a mouse to switch fields unless I tab through each field. there's not even the option for an CTRL+UP.
- It forces my logo to be much smaller, which I do not like
- why break up the address info for the sender into two columns? why?!
- It makes information that I usually refer to at a glance hidden behind 2 to 3 clicks (Activity, for instance).
- 'Activity' does not display the recipient email addresses when I sent an invoice out
- Are you kidding me with the large color bar across the invoice in the Modern Theme. Try to avoid wasting ink and change the background to #FFFFFF white? Then your invoicee and the word 'invoice' becomes invisible on the invoice
- Print Invoice is now removed from the 'Review and Send' screen; I had to hunt around all over. If your invoice was created with an older template, then you get a giant 'PAY INVOICE' button on the bottom of the invoice, as if a customer should 'press' this button on a printed copy.
