Thanks for bringing this matter to my attention. I want to make sure you’re able to import the QBO WebConnect file successfully in QuickBooks Online.
We have not received any reports similar to this from other users like you. It’s possible the file is corrupted resulting in the error prompt.
Let's download transactions from your bank’s website and import the file in QuickBooks again. Here’s how:
1. Log in to your bank’s website and follow the process to download transactions to your computer.
2. Choose the transactions you want to download or specify a date range.
3. Select a supported file type for the download file.
4. Name the file and save it on a location where you can easily find it.
Now, you can start uploading the file to QuickBooks. To do that, follow the steps below:
1. Go to Banking from the left menu and select Banking.
2. Select File upload from the Update drop-down.
3. Click Browse, then locate the file you downloaded from the bank and select it.
4. Hit Next.
5. Choose the account from the QuickBooks account drop-down and click Next.
6. Finally, click Let’s go! (or Finish).
Please see this article for your reference: How to upload more than 90 days of bank transactions.
That should do it. Give this a try and let me know how it goes. If you have any questions, leave a comment below. I’ll be more than happy to answer them for you. Thanks for dropping by, I’ll keep an eye out for your response.
