I can provide you with more information about e-filing 1099s in QuickBooks Desktop, .

It is possible to create your 1099s within QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). If you decide to e-file your forms, they will be imported to Tax1099 where you can e-file and monitor the filing status. Please note that there will be an additional fee if you choose to e-file your forms from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). However, setting free e-filings for several forms would be advantageous for other users, so I'll take note of it. I also encourage you to leave feedback from your account.

Here are the steps:

  1. Select Send Feedback Online from the Help menu.
  2. Click the Product Suggestion from the drop-down menu.
  3. Fill out the on-screen instructions in the QuickBooks Feedback window.
  4. After that, click Send Feedback.

Check out this article for more information about preparing and filing your federal 1099s with QuickBooks Desktop: Create and file 1099s with QuickBooks Desktop

In case you need to make any corrections with your 1099, refer to this Tax1099 article, What kinds of corrections can I make to 1099 forms after they have been submitted?.

Also, you can file 1099s directly with the IRS using their new Information Returns Intake System (IRIS). To learn more about the requirements, and how to register with IRIS, ‌see E-file Forms 1099 with IRIS.

Let me know if you need more information about 1099s. I'm always here to answer them for you. Keep safe, and have a wonderful day!
