We understand that there are challenges when running QuickBooks for Mac on the new macOS version, Sazzo.

When a major operating system update launches, it can cause compatibility issues for apps like QuickBooks that were developed on previous versions.

According to the latest update, our engineering team has already released patches that improve the compatibility with the new OS. This is available to QuickBooks or Mac 2022 and later versions.

However, please note that QuickBooks 2019 is now an unsupported version since it has been discontinued. This means that no new feature updates or bug fixes will be released for QB 2019. You can find more details about this here: QuickBooks Desktop Service Discontinuation Policy.

You might consider upgrading to these supported versions to maximize compatibility.

With regards to adding you to the list of affected users, I would recommend contacting our support team. They will ask for your account details so they can take not of your contact information. Here's how:

  1. Go to this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/help/en-us/contact-us.
  2. Select QuickBooks for Mac and click Continue.
  3. Let them know that you want to be included in the list for the investigation of QuickBooks for Mac compatibility issue with Sonoma.
  4. Click Continue once again.
  5. Choose between Chat with us or Have us call you.

Feel free to check out these additional resources in case you need them when installing the trial version once the new OS is supported:

Please know that our team is making this a top priority and will release compatibility fixes as quickly as possible. Let us know if you have other questions. We're here to help smooth out the transition to the new OS.
