Like any other application, QuickBooks for Mac can encounter compatibility issues when a new operating system is launched. The 2019 and 2020 version of QuickBooks was developed before the release of this new OS, so it may experience challenges in running smoothly on it.
In this case, I recommend considering upgrading to a newer version of QuickBooks Desktop that is compatible with Sonoma MacOS. The newer versions often include bug fixes, stability improvements, and support for the latest operating systems.
