Let's run your computer in Safe Boot mode. This will help determine if there's a conflict between QuickBooks and something installed on your computer.
Here's how:
- Shut down your computer.
- Press the Power button, then press and hold the Shif key on your keyboard until you see your Desktop.
- Open the desktop program and create a statement before the Crash Catcher appears.
Note: If you’re unable to reproduce the problem, this might indicate a conflict between QuickBooks and something installed on your computer.
- Return to normal mode by restarting your computer without pressing anything.
- If the issue persists in normal mode, contact an IT professional.
If your QuickBooks continues to quit or stop working, I recommend following the solution in this article: Troubleshoot Crash Catcher. Then perform Solutions 5. up to 6.
