We are working on fixes and will be rolling out releases very soon. The main crashing issues are with the Home Page (already discussed here) and Window tabbing.  You could try turning those off - IntuitBen has already posted on the thread how to avoid opening the pre-existing windows.  The tab control is in QuickBooks->Preferences and deselect "Use Tabbed Windows".  Turning off window tabbing and not using the Home Page may get you up and running on Sonoma.

We will be releasing updates with fixes for both of these. Releases come one version at a time. We can only update supported versions per Intuit's legal policy as Ben noted.
