The funny thing is that there is no issue when opening the company files directly. This error only happens if there is already a company file open and there is an attempt made to switch to another company.

If you select the option to open a company file from the file menu, the program crashes when attempting to open the file select dialog box. The same issue happens if you select a company from the list of previous companies in the file menu.

Again, there is no issue opening files and working in them if you navigate to the company file in file explorer and click on it. There is also no issue when opening quick books and it automatically opens the most recent company file.
