I'm having the same issue with QB. I had QB 2007 forever and it was fine until I upgraded my Mac OS. It was then that I found out I can't just purchase QB anymore; there's only this exorbitant annual fee. Ridiiculous!!!

I saw that you mentioned the following:

What do you mean by a free program? I only need the basic features and work solo, and I want to have it on my Mac, not online. Can you please tell me what you're referring to here? My free trial is used up and I can't even get in now without a registration code (which I don't want to pay that crazy price for!). Can you direct me?
