I have a suggestion that you could try out to complete the import to QBO without sales tax. You could condense your QuickBooks Desktop company file and only bring over 2010 and forward to QuickBooks Online. This way, it will remove the transactions that have sales tax associated with them. However, please remember to back up the company file before condensing the data. Once you condense the data, it is irreversible.
