Hi there, @RobbyD. I've got the instructions you'll need to bring in your information to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
In QuickBooks Point of Sale (POS), you can set up a financial exchange setting to transfer your data to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) and the other way around. Since you don't want to affect any of your existing data in QBDT, you can start a new company file during a financial exchange transfer. Let me show you how.
- Go to File.
- Select Preferences.
- Click Company.
- Under Financial, select Set Up QuickBooks Desktop Connection Now.
- Select Let me choose a new company file.
- Enter your Admin login credentials.
- Click Finish.
