Just to be clear: The only way to not include the middle dot after the account number....is to not use account numbers?

 

Also, what about the middle dot between the account NAME and the subaccount name?

 

I'm a little confused as to why QB would use a non-standard symbol in such an important field.  I would think a hyphen would be much more universally-useable.
