My colleague already updated her answer. You may want to follow the alternate solution on how to remove the dot symbol from your account numbers.

 

Our goal is to consistently deliver a product that our clients can rely on for their business. Incorporating a function that allows users to add accounts without the dot separator is beneficial to your business and improves your working experience. 

 

You can send feedback about adding this feature to the program. The ideas on this page are frequently reviewed by our developers to see what functions our customers would want to see included in upcoming enhancements.

 

Here's how to send your product suggestions:

 

  1. Press the Help menu at the top bar to choose Send Feedback Online and Product Suggestions.
  2. In the QuickBooks Feedback window, click the Type of Feedback drop-down to select Product Suggestion.
  3. Pick the Product Area from the drop-down and your feedback in the Here is my suggestion box.
  4. Fill in the remaining fields.
  5. Click Send Feedback.
