QuickBooks doesn't use Google Chrome. Instead, the program works with Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) and Intuit's built-in browser which replaces IE11.
If Google Chrome is crashing when you open QuickBooks, you can try performing some of our recommended troubleshooting steps from AileneA and JasroV's posts.
In the event your troubleshooting doesn't change anything, you'll want to get in touch with our Customer Care team and reference the investigation's case number (INV-73950). They'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment and conduct further research with you.
They can be reached while using QuickBooks.
Here's how:
- In your top menu bar, go to Help, then QuickBooks Desktop Help.
- Click Contact Us.
- Enter a brief description of the issue in our Ask a question (or tell us what's wrong) field, then hit Continue.
- Select We’ll contact you for a callback or Message Us to start an instant messaging session.
Be sure to review their support hours so you'll know when agents are available.
