Today I tried to use Quickbooks Pro 2015 and it was suddenly a boat anchor. Kept spewing messages about IE 11 needed. All the doc I could find seemed to found at faking it out and clicking boxes in the QWB.INI file to let it know IE 11 was really there. When I searched it appeared to be there but it really wasn't. I finally decided to launch it, read about how great Edge was, but then once it was installed I clicked on IE compatibility. That started some configuration scripts and finally said I was synced across all platforms. I shut down the QB intance that was failing and restarted it. When I went into my ledge (which is wear it failed) it now worked like a charm. The IE 11 call is being rerouted to Edge under the covers, at least enough to make QB Pro 2015 happy. I though my ledger from 1998 through Feb 2023 was forever lost but there it is.
