Thanks for reaching out to the Community for help, PROPNewHope. I'm here to lend a hand with your barcodes/price tag concerns.

 

Your QuickBooks Desktop POS 19 version will still work. Please ensure you have updated the system to the latest release. This way, you'll get improved performance, fixes security loops and bugs, more security of data, as well as an error-free experience. I'll guide you on how.

 

For automatic updates:

 

  1. Go to the Help menu, and hover over Software Update.
  2. Select Updater Preference.
  3. Choose the General tab and select Automatically download updates. Then select Notify me.
  4. Tap OK.

 

For manual updates:

 

  1. Sign in to your point of sale system as an admin.
  2. Go to the Help menu and hover over Software Update. Then select Check for updates. If QuickBooks finds an update, you'll see it as an option.
  3. When you're ready, select Update now and then OK.
