It seems pretty clear this isn't a technical issue (the folks in the UK figured out how to do it years ago) and is probably a contractural one.  I assume one of the third party apps has some sort of contract with Intuit that prevents them from offering this feature. Maybe that contract expires at some point, or maybe not.  I wish Intuit would just come clean and tell us what's up.

It also would be nice if they updated that help article to make it clear that it's a feature only available in the UK.  Right now there is no indication at all that the feature is not available elsewhere.
