Hello, comoltd. I'm here to help get this sorted out.

You'll want to check if the Customer is marked inactive on your account. Inactive customers have an X mark beside their names.

Once verified that it's active, you can run the Verify/Rebuild tool utility to detect the data damage. It allows your QuickBooks software to refresh the data inside the company file.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the File menu and choose Utilities
  2. Click Verify Data, then click OK to close all windowsIf it says, "Your data has failed the integrity check" you need to rebuild your file.
  3. Navigate to the File menu, pick Utilities, then click Rebuild Data.
  4. Click on OK to close all windows
  5. Confirm to back up your company file.
  6. Hit OK once the rebuild is finished.
