I'll hop in this thread and drop some insights concerning canceled companies under the My practice list in QuickBooks Online Accountant.

As mentioned above, when the company is canceled, it will show as read-only access. However, if you need to use your QuickBooks Online Accountant account, we will need to resubscribe again to continue utilizing it.

To test things out, create a QuickBooks Online demo client company. It allows you to practice and test tools with simulated client data rather than actual client data: Practice with sample client companies in QuickBooks Online Accountant.
