Hello there, @user65235.

I've come to share some insights about creating and filing state 1099s with QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

Our 1099 e-file service in QBDT can help you file 1099s separately with your state. However, please note that this service has an additional fee.

Since you've already submitted your federal 1099s, you'll have to go through the creating process again (make sure to enter the information under the appropriate state boxes) so you can download the form (Copy 1) you need. Please see this article for the step-by-step guide: Create and file 1099s with QuickBooks Desktop.

Once you've submitted your 1099s to the state, go back to your account to check their status. Then, if you wish to view, print, email, or mail your forms, you can check out this article for the complete guide: Where can I See My Submitted Forms?.

Also, you may want to check out this article as your reference to answer the most commonly asked questions about 1099 forms and how you can prepare for the tax season in QBDT: Get answers to your 1099 questions.

If you have other Form 1099 concerns or questions about managing vendor transactions in QBDT, I'm always ready to help. Take care, and have a great day, @user65235.
