Only the IRS has information about your PIN. I did some research on their website, and these are steps that you can follow to retrieve your PIN.

 

  1. Go to the IRS website.
  2. In the search bar in the top right, search "Get an E-File PIN".
  3. Select this article: Get An Identity Protection PIN (IP PIN).
  4. Scroll down to the Lost IP PINs section and click Retrieve your IP PIN in blue text. The article will give you information on how to retrieve your PIN online.

 

Once you have the PIN, you can enter it in QuickBooks as you do the usual process for E-filing your forms.
