Hi @Andrew144,

Thank you for keeping us up to date with your QuickBooks and Payroll release versions. Allow me to chime in and assist you with the issue concerning Form 1099-NEC in QuickBooks Desktop.

Yes, you're right. Our product engineers received reports about the problem with the date when viewing Form 1099-NEC in the Desktop version.

As of now, there's no specific timeframe for the complete fix. Rest assured, our engineers are doing their best to get affected users back on track to file the form on time.

I suggest you proceed with contacting our Payroll Support Team so they can add you to our list of affected users. This way, you can receive live email updates about this issue.

Aside from this forum, you can reach our support team by requesting a callback. Our Customer Support Team for Basic and Enhanced is available from 6 AM - 6 PM PT (Monday - Friday). For Assisted Payroll, any time, any day. See the steps to get a hold of a specialist:

To contact them, you can follow the below steps:

  1. Open QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Click the Help tab at the top menu bar.
  3. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  4. Enter your concern, then hit Continue.
  5. Choose Get a callback.

Aside from E-filing, did you know you can also check the filing status directly from your account? Here's an article you can visit to learn more about the steps, as well as correcting 1099s: Create and file 1099s with QuickBooks Desktop.

Drop me a comment below if you have any concerns about Form 1099-NEC or fixing the date info. We're always available to lend a hand in this space. Take care always.
