Buy nowThis is not a dating issue, it's a formatting issue. As the original post states, the IRS form for 1099-NEC is not date specific. In the date box is "20__", which means that the required input is a 2-digit date of "22." QuickBooks is printing a 4-digit date of "2022" in this box. At best, QuickBooks could have me report payments I've made 20 thousand years in the future year of 202022. Again, the issue is not something like a wrong year (21 instead of 22), it's the number of digits being printed in that box.
Again, everything is up-to-date on my version of QuickBooks (payroll and desktop). Both we're updated this morning right before I made my first post.
