I appreciate the effort you have made so far to get this sorted. Worry less. Since you have me, I’ll ensure we can resolve this matter. I’ll lay out the guidelines for disabling auto-updates in your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) for Mac.

 

Here’s how:

 

  1. Open your QuickBooks Desktop as an Administrator.
  2. Go to the QuickBooks menu and navigate to Check for QuickBooks Updates.
  3. Then, uncheck the Automatically download and install updates in the future. Once done, press the Don’t Install.
