Hello there, @mpvis. I appreciate you performing some steps to resolve the error message you encounter. I'm here to help fix your data.

 

Since the issue persists, let's repair your company file using the Rebuild Data tool. It helps resolve minor company file data issues.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the File menu at the top of your QuickBooks Desktop account.
  2. Choose Utilities and click Rebuild Data.
  3. On the QuickBooks Information window, select OK
  4. Follow the onscreen steps to save a backup.
  5. Let the tool repair your file. 
  6. Click OK when done.
  7. Go to the File menu again. Then hover over Utilities and select Verify Data.
  8. Let the tool check your file for data issues.

 

If the system wasn't able to find any issues, select OK. But if it does, choose Rebuild now.
