Buy nowHi there, @kattlees. I'll share some details about how class and location tracking works in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
First, please be aware that it's not possible to auto-assign a class and location on an invoice. You'll have to do it manually to track the items in your invoice transaction by Class and location. Also, depending on how you treated your QB fee, if you've added it to your invoice as an extra line item and used the same class the service or product item has, you'll be able to see it when you run a Class list report or Sales by location detail report if you added a location to your invoice.
If this is the case, you'll want to open the invoice and add the same class to your QB fee item. To begin, here's how:
You can run a Class list report or Sales by location detail report to verify that the QB fee is added to those class/locations in your QBO account.
But if you processed the payments using QuickBooks payments, know that the only way to track them down is to check them in your chart of accounts and open the account where the payment's been added. See this article for more info: Choose where to record payments and processing fees for QuickBooks Payments.
In addition, I've got you this article help you manage your class in QBO: Manage classes in QuickBooks Online.
You can also check this page about managing invoice payments in QBO: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.
