I have been using Recurring Transactions for some time for Bill Reminders and to remind myself to make accrual journal entries.  I think I am using them incorrectly because the only place they remind me of anything is on the Recurring Transactions page itself, which is kind of useless.  The Remind ____ Days Before seems to do nothing.  Also, when I "use" them there they do not roll over to the next period unless I choose "Skip Next Date."  Surely there is a better way I can be using these?
