Correct solution to this problem is somewhere in between:

• Turning off the left navigation bar, and
• Standing up, putting your left foot over your head, then pulling your right ear with your left hand, and then jumping up and down!

Yes, I am joking of course but very frustrated with the lack of attention to this issue from QB development team.
