Buy nowOkay. I just spent the last 25 minutes with Quickbooks support and a chat box. They took control of my computer and I followed their cursor. You have to be able to sit and watch and do. What they did was basically "updated Quickbooks to the latest release version".I was in Help/Update QB Desktop/Update now. You need to get QB up and running before you can do this, I think. I have just kept QB up and minimize it at the end of the day. I restarted my computer while they were still on with me and it did not crash. I am hopeful that this worked and it won't crash anymore. Here is the email they just sent me as to how I got to communicate with this support person.

2 Click Contact us at the bottom of frequently asked questions.
3 Type your Question or Inquiries (call me back).
4 Select call me back option.
5 Confirm the information and the callback.
6 Click close.
