Which QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) year version do you run? Have you tried the alternatives proposed in this thread? If you haven't performed them yet, I've included the steps below for your convenience.
First off, it's crucial to ensure your system meets the requirement. Click on the link for your QBDT version:
Then, let's download the QuickBooks Tool Hub and use it to run a quick repair on your program. This helps end QuickBooks processes running in the background.
Follow these steps to install QuickBooks Tool Hub:
- Close your QuickBooks.
- Download the QuickBooks Tool Hub file.
- Open the QuickBookstoolhub.exe file. It gets saved in the download folder.
- Follow the on-screen steps to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
- Click Finish.
- Double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub.
From there, let's run the Quick Fix my Program tool.
- In the QuickBooks Tool Hub, select Program Problems.
- Select Quick Fix my Program.
- Start QuickBooks Desktop and open your data file.
