I bought a desktop copy of QB 2021 Premier Plus, which came with a one year subscription, at a local store. It was the only copy they had even though I didn't need the premier plus. I don't need the subscription because I don't run payroll or anything from it, our accountant does all that. I just need it for estimating and invoicing, posting payments, etc. But when I try to open the program, a pop up comes up that says "It seems that your QuickBooks subscription has lapsed. Please make sure we have your latest billing information on file to keep your subscription active". It will not open my books but I do not want to pay for a subscription because I don't need it! How do I get around this? I need to print out a profit and loss for my bank and I can't get into the dumb books! So frustrated!
