Hi Quickbooks @MadelynC, I am reading this thread and it does not really give a clear answer on the question. Wondering if a QBO rep can respond. All/ most countries have their own privacy regulations that all business owners must follow and a large part of those regulations is an understanding of where client data is stored. While QBO can state that data is secured, the companies collecting the information and using QBO to store that data needs to know where the data is ultimately stored. Most software providers have a webpage that provides security whitepapers for software users and provides the information we need to be in compliance with local privacy laws. Can someone from QBO direct us to user information relating to data storage locations please? For instance, Microsoft will disclose that Canadian users will have their data stored in one of 2 server locations. Another example is TaxDome, a cloud firm management software platform I use. They have a place on their website that states this "The data is stored in Amazon AWS and is backed up daily. The physical location of your data is determined by your firm location. For example US firm data is stored in the US and Canadian firm data is stored in Canada."  If QBO uses AWS and is directing QBO users to review AWS storage locations, QBO should be specific in that they are still currently using AWS and where QBO users from various countries have data stored by AWS similar to the statement TaxDome has on their website. This is extremely important as we as business owners are liable for the information we intake from our clients. Thanks.
