I appreciate your update, @DDP2. Let's perform some troubleshooting steps so you can remove your VAT Registration No. on your estimates in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Then, guide you on the actions you need to take if the error persists so you can permanently solve this matter.
You should be able to remove your VAT Registration No. on your estimates after performing the steps recommended by my colleagues above. Based on your update, it seems that you have corrupted or damaged webpage data. This is sometimes caused by the browser's collection of data over time from frequent page visits.
To fix this, you'll want to pull up your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser (incognito). Here's how:
Once signed in, go ahead and create an estimate. Make sure to choose the customised template you have by clicking the Customise option (as shown in the screenshot above). Then, open its print preview by selecting the Print or Preview option.
If you're able to view or access the Overview tab, return to your default browser and clear its cache. This will refresh the system and remove older data that causes viewing and performance issues. However, if this matter continues, I'd recommend using other supported browsers.
In case the display error continues after performing the troubleshooting steps above, I would encourage you to reach out to our Customer Care team. They can create a case to trigger an investigation and guide you with a fix. Here's how:
Also, you may want to check out one of our Help pages in case you need a reference in managing your company's income and customer transactions using QBO: Sales and Customers help for QuickBooks Online. It includes topics about managing sales forms and creating customer statements, to name a few.
Please keep me posted on how it goes in the comments below. If you have other concerns about customizing estimates and managing them in QBO, I'm always here to help. Take care, and have a great day, @DDP2.
