I’m so glad I came across this thread. I’ve been using QuickBooks self-employed for all of my self-employed business accounts for the last four years, and I’ve been trying to scratch my head about making tax digital and using the software moving forward. After reading through all of the replies on this thread, it looks like I’m 100% going to change software to either Sage or Xero and redo this Taxi so far since April to make sure I’m fully in tune with the new way of accounting to be compliant. It’s quite outrageous really that QuickBooks Self-Employed is only really a tax side as I signed up as it was sold to me as an accounting tool.

Really glad you guys have brought this up, I guess they’ll also be hundreds of people in the same position.
