Hello, pccreceipts. We understand the importance of speedy QBO performance and I'm here to assist you in resolving the challenges you're experiencing.

When it comes to speed issues when working in the program, there are several things that you can look at to ensure you're getting the most out of your user experience.

This includes outdated plugins, overused resources, or internet connectivity problems.

I checked our records and I can't find any open alerts about this for now. Let me share these tips on how to improve the program's performance on your computer:

  1. Close unnecessary programs and tabs: Close any unnecessary programs and tabs that may be consuming system resources.
  2. Update your browser: Ensure that you are using the latest version of your browser, as outdated browsers may negatively impact performance.
  3. Check your internet speed: Verify that your internet speed (bandwidth) is not limiting your QuickBooks Online experience. Run a Google Speed Test to confirm your bandwidth.
  4. Try a different browser: If your current browser is not performing well, try running QuickBooks Online on a different browser. Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla, and Safari are all compatible and recommended by Intuit for an optimal user experience.
  5. Clear browser cache and cookies: Clearing your browser's cache and cookies can help improve performance. Use this article as a guide: Clear Cache and Cookies to Fix Issues When Using QuickBooks Online.
  6. Optimize your computer and network: Upgrade your hardware or internet connection to improve performance. QuickBooks Online is built and tested with the latest browsers and operating systems in mind, so older systems may not receive regular browser updates, which can negatively impact performance.

Additional details about this are discussed here: Why Is My QuickBooks Online Slow?

This lets you check for potential service disruptions impacting connectivity that could be temporarily affecting speed.
