We went for Sage50Cloud Accounting Pro. Costs MUCH less than 12k/year. (About Β£80/month with 5 users)
Despite what people have said it is NOT primarily cloud based and the main company account is kept local. The cloud is just used for working remotely.
There are no plans (I have asked) to make it totally cloud based.
It was a pain to migrate but it works well, despite a few niggles and the UI being quite old.
STILL no news from QB about a read only licence to satisfy HMRC and to access old records.
We're glad to be shot of QB to be honest, their online version is laughable...
