Thanks for getting back to us, martinschultz. I know how difficult it is when you can't migrate all the data. I'm here to clear things out for you.

 

The standalone subscription for QuickBooks Desktop had already ended on April 30, 2021. If your client is using this, there will be no loss of access to the program. This means they can still view the data.

 

If they're unsure about the subscription, I'd recommend checking the Desktop invoices. Standalone receive a separate invoice each month for support only.

 

Once you're ready to move the desktop data to QuickBooks Online, I'd suggest checking out these resources for the detailed process:
