Hello there, @Eva Nov

Thanks for choosing QuickBooks Online (QBO) in managing your business. Let me help you migrate your data from QuickBooks Desktop to your Online account.

To easily access your company file from the desktop version to the online version. Here's how you do it:

  1. First, ensure that your QuickBooks is updated to its latest release.
  2. Then, check if your company file isn’t too big to export.
  3. Once done, sign in as an admin to your QuickBooks Desktop company file.
  4. When opened, navigate to the Company menu, then select Export Company File to QuickBooks Online.
  5. Choose to Start your export.
  6. Then, open a browser and sign in as an admin to your QuickBooks Online company.
  7. Select the Choose online company▼ dropdown, then select the QuickBooks Online company you want to be replaced by your company file.
  8. Hit Continue and enter “Agree” in the text field, then select Replace.
  9. Choose Yes, go ahead and replace the data, then tap Replace
