Still not available in 2025!!!

"Rest assured, all your valuable feedbacks is read and reviewed by our Product Development Team." So what to they do after they review it? Go back to twiddling their thumbs? Are their any actual developers working @ Quickbooks? The only changes to the function of the site I've ever seen is UI updates, that only make things more confusing and less user friendly. Clearly you need some developers that have a basic understanding of business and accounting, not just HTML developers who don't understand what the data they are presenting means.

Just browsing this forum it seems like QB doesn't actually develop anything based off user suggestions, and just uses this forum to lie and placate concerns in hopes you'll just get busy running your business and go away. They never actually innovate or develop anything users request. There are countless threads on this forum where people ask how to do something, some QB team member says, sorry we don't currently have that functionality, we'll send this along to the Dev team and get right on it, then I find these threads many years later and the question still stands. What great customer service!!! (Sarcastic tone implicit)

I'll be advocating my company to transition to a competitor, Quickbooks clearly doesn't care if this issue is still ongoing after 5 years. It's really not that hard to do... Ideally, we'd be able to build truly custom reports, i.e. selecting our own fields, time periods, and reporting structure, but certainly a basic direct cash flow statement should be included in ANY accounting/bookkeeping software. To CLAIM user friendliness for non-accountants, yet not have the basic functionality to run a report like Direct Cash Flow Statement, is anything but user friendly. Many small Biz Owners are not accounting savvy, and would prefer a simple statement that shows cash inflows and out flows on a monthly basis. Non accountants often struggle with the concept of Net Income, as that doesn't translate at the end of the day to what the owner brings in each month, due to salaries, AP, AR, etc. Thus, showing them an indirect cash flow statement which starts off the bat with a concept that they don't fully grasp is pointless.
