To connect to Online banking:
- Navigate to the Menu ☰ and choose Transactions.
- Select + to add an account.
- Look for your bank or pick one from the list of popular options.
- Choose your bank from the search results.
- Log in to your bank account.
- Follow the prompts to select the account you wish to connect.
- Choose a QuickBooks account the bank account should map to.
To manually create it through COA, you can use the mobile browser to accomplish the tasks. Here's how:
- Navigate to Settings ⚙ and click on Chart of accounts.
- Click on New.
- Choose an Account type, then select the Detail type from the dropdown menu.
- If this account is a subaccount, check Make this a subaccount, then choose the Parent account it should be under.
- For Bank, Asset, Credit card, Liabilities, or Equity accounts, enter the Opening Balance and specify the starting date in the As of field.
- Click Save.
If you're attempting to add your QBO account using the app, you need not add it, you only have to log in to the app using the same QuickBooks Online company credentials.
