Financial reports give you snapshots of different areas of your business and most reports are available for all QuickBooks Online users. You can check out this article to learn which reports are available for your version of QuickBooks Online: Reports included in your QuickBooks Online subscription. You can also visit this link to run all the reports you need: Reports for QuickBooks Online International

QuickBooks Online makes it easy to record business expenses. Entering your income and expenses gives a more complete picture of your business and profit. To learn more about this one, just refer to this article: Enter and manage expenses in QuickBooks Online.

To have a birds-eye view of your 2020 data, we can access the Dashboard. Where you can select the date range of the displayed figures for Expenses, Sales, and Profit and Loss by clicking the drop-down arrow. Then, have a clear picture of your finances, you can turn on the Dashboard Cash Flow widget. Here's how to enable this feature:

  1. Go to the Settings/Gear icon.
  2. Click QuickBooks Labs.
  3. Select Cash Flow Dashboard Widget and turn it ON.
  4. Once done, refresh your QBO.

To learn more about your QuickBooks Online dashboard, please see this article: An introduction to the home dashboard.  Feel free to visit the Help Article page for your Virtual Assistant to have an idea on how to run your business in QBO.
