Thanks for the update, @guus.
The error 404 in QuickBooks Online (QBO) means the web page you want to open couldn't be found on the server. This is an unusual behavior of the system while making changes to your Chart of Accounts (COA). You're able to resolve and isolate the said error by performing some troubleshooting steps.
You can first press the F5 key on your keyboard to refresh the page or URL. When you're still unable to use the URL, you can open your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser (incognito). Here's how:
Once done, access the URL. If you're able to open the link, return to your default browser and clear its cache and cookies. This will remove older data that causes viewing and performance issues. However, if the issue persists, I'd recommend using other supported browsers.
In case the problem continues, I'd recommend manually reclassifying your transactions in your Chart of Accounts. For the step-by-step guide, kindly check out this article's Step 2 section: Reclassify and move multiple transactions. It also contains instructions about reclassifying by location and the answers to the most frequently asked questions about the topic.
Additionally, I'd also recommend reconciling your accounts from your COA every month. This is to effectively monitor your income, expenses, and the growth of your business. You can refer to this article for the complete details: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online. It also includes details about editing completed reconciliations.
