Thanks for getting back to us here.  The experience you've described is not what we would expect.  Having the ability to print clear T4 slips is essential.  I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Desktop specialists at the number provided here, so they can review the unexpected outcome in more depth, and escalate it for further investigation if required.
