This has been going on with Scotiabank Scotiaconnect since last November (2021).  I am getting quite tired of the "our engineers are aware of the issue and working on a solution" garbage.  I would like to know a definite date for repair.  I, like others are no longer suggesting QBO to clients that use Scotibank.  This fix has taken way way too long.
