Thanks for joining the thread. I understand how important to be able to have the expense categories be available in the QBO Mobile App. The reported product investigation about Expense Categories is not showing in the QuickBooks Mobile App (iOS) after saved has been resolved. Let's make sure your app in on the latest version.

 

Follow below steps for the fix to apply:

 

  1. On your iOS device, visit the App store.
  2. Update QuickBooks Accounting app to the latest version 24.05.9.
  3. Sign into your QuickBooks Online account. 
  4. Go to Menu tab > All tab.
  5. Select Expenses section to view the categories.

Check if your expense categories is shown. If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. That way, one of our care agents can further escalate the issue encountered.
