Hi MattyA,

There was a reported product investigation with regard to expense categories are not showing in the QuickBooks Mobile App iOS version. A fix has been deployed recently by the engineers. Please visit the App store to update the QuickBooks Online Accounting app to version 24.05.9, followed by signing in again to your QuickBooks account to view the Expense categories.

To resolve this, I suggest refreshing the app or uninstall and re-install them.

For Android devices, please perform these steps:

1. From your phone's settings, go to Apps. The option varies by device.
2. Select the QuickBooks app from the list.
3. Click Storage and then hit Clear Data.

For iOS devices, follow the instructions below:

1. Go to the menu at the top right corner of your device.
2. Choose Help & Feedback.
3. Select Refresh Data.
4. Click Refresh.

If the problem continues, I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the app to resolve any installation or update issues that cause the crashing.

In the meantime, please access your QuickBooks Online account via website browser for now to check recorded expense transactions, OR Login to QuickBooks Online App via iPad.

Post again in the Community if you have further concerns about accessing your expense categories. I am around to help you.
