Hi tracynz,

Export to QuickBooks option will only show if a payroll journal is not exported successfully to QuickBooks Online. Here are some ways on how we can check if a payroll journal is exported:

Option 1: Hover your mouse on the icon below. If the icon is green that means the journal was exported to QuickBooks Online.

Option 2: Run a Journal report

1. Go to Reports tab and search for Journal. 
2. Click Customise.
3. Select the Report period. 
4. On Filter drop-down menu, tick Transaction Type.
5. On Transaction Type drop-down menu, select Journal Entry. 
6. Select Run report.
