I have some information about creating a backup copy of your QuickBooks Online (QBO) file. While we can't backup copies for QBO, you'll want to check for a third-party application. This way, you can back up and restore them anytime.
On the other hand, you can export your data file and import them when you're ready. Here's how.
To export:
- Go Gear at the top.
- Choose Export Data.
- You'll be asked why you're exporting. Pick an answer and tap Continue.
- In the Export Data window, select the data that you'd like to send to Excel.
- Click Export to Excel.
To import:
- Go the Gear icon.
- Choose Import Data.
- Pick the data block to import, then browse for the file.
- Follow the steps that'll guide you to the rest.
