Glad to see you here in the Community, @freshcrimcuts.

 

QuickBooks takes the information from your bank's description of the transaction and has it populate in the description field. At this time, there is no way to amend this. 

 

On the other hand, I also recommend checking the Show bank details option in Online Banking to see if it's enabled. Having it disabled can be the reason for the missing description of your bank transactions.

 

To do that:

  1. Click on Banking at the left panel.
  2. Refer to the Banking section.
  3. Press the Gear icon located at the banking page.
  4. Put a check-mark in the Show bank details box.
