Hello, fislerdata.

I appreciate taking the time to get back to us. I'll take it from here and give clarifications and some other details regarding the Email subject line issue.

To clarify what Jen_D said, the "Estimate" will automatically populate in the email subject line. We can change this in the Email subject line box.

This seems like an unusual behavior, so I took the initiative to find some reported issues. To clarify this further, we currently have an investigation regarding the "Estimate" word on the subject line box.

Our engineers are currently working to resolve this as soon as possible. In the meantime, you'll want to remove "Quote" and use "Estimate" to avoid confusion. Technically, a quote and an estimate have the same function in QuickBooks Online. Though, you can also leave it as it is until we resolve the issue.

I'd recommend contacting our support. They can add you to the list of affected users. Our engineers will send updates through email.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Help icon, then hit the Contact Us button at the bottom.
  2. Enter "INV-46995 - affected user" in the text box.
  3. Click Let's talk.
  4. Hit Start an email
